Curious Corners Outside My Home

Click on the photos for more detail. This is the same area outside my home with 2 different garden vignettes.
I placed all the flagstones like a GIANT puzzle patio area, and I built the windowboxes.
I love old rusty red wagons. This one is probably my oldest. It was purchased for about $5 at the auction house I used to go to pretty frequently. All my other rusty red wagons were thrifted from along the curb in my travels.
I have 2 wagons- stacked double decker -( a smaller one on top ) planted with Impatiens by my front door. I guess I can add red wagons to my list of
"I collect..." And of course- they're RED!!
I painted the sign and it says
"Thyme began in the garden"...
*Thyme (herb) play on words for time.

Favorite Past Snaps

Some of my favorite snapshots of E. from the past.
She is now 15!

At a barn in Northern Michigan.
This one was not posed.
I just clicked a few while she was playing
and picking Queen Anne's Lace.
~~I just LOVE the name of that flower!~~

She is holding
Emily Dickinson;
one of the
Madame Alexander
dolls I inherited from my mom.
It is one of E's very favorites.
Some day Emily D.
will be passed on to my E. This rocking chair was a gift from E's aunt, and years later we gifted it back to her for use at her own house with her grandkids.
