Gone for another 5 or 6 months are the days of barbeque parties here in Ohio. We have snow officially stuck on the ground today and not melting away. I know there are plenty of places in the world where you can dress in shorts for Christmas time but northernmost Ohio is not that place. So now we look forward to the holiday shopping season when nearly every corner has a live Christmas tree lot, it seems. Don't you just love the scene in A Christmas Story when they go to the Christmas tree lot? And how about the flat tire incident on their way home?! Or plugging in the tree lights?!! Don't get me started on all my favorite parts of that movie, we could be here all day and your laundry wouldn't get done. We watch that movie over and over here at our house each December.
