beauty, fun and unusual

A beauty from New York.
Look at those curls!

And those shoes! And the details on the dress!

Don't you think these two girls are asking for you to give them some added hats?

OK...Now who thought this was a good idea for a day's outing?

This definitely falls in the bizarre category! "Martha do you want to sit by the head? No thanks Eva, you can. I'll sit by the tail if you don't mind"

All these are in my Etsy, as digital scans so you can print them out and create with them... or just put them in a frame. Click on the photo you adore above and you will be taken to that photo scan in the shop.

I love looking at old photos, and the pic with the 2 little girls really grabbed my attention the most. Such pensive little faces.

Amy, your photos are always pleasing to the eye.
Elise and Nick look great--love those smiles. Going to check out your Etsy. This dial up sucks, but better than nothing. I don't get to visit as many blogs as before. Hugs, Pat

Good Morning Amy
Your pics always inspire. Hmm, wonder what stories could be told from them?

Re the girl with the Mary Pickford style curls: About 1968 I had a pair of shoes very similar to her. They were pink and had small heels. However, mine only had cut outs on the outside and were like the petals of a daisy. I wore them with a pink suit to go see Thoroughly Modern Millie, set in the 1920s starring Julie Andrews.

The girl in your photo has a stunning dress.
