I read though some of your blog and it is a lot of fun! I love all the images you combine with your words to make a beautiful thing! Funny thing is that I have so much in common with you, but I have given up all the "makin"...no more cross stitching, sewing, baking, crochet, embroidery, etc. What is wrong with me??? LOL!
If you visit my blog (mostly about succulents), I will post a pic of the tea towel I embroidered and keep on my pantry door...I have my husband and my, and the 4 kids names on there, but I need to add daughter in laws and grandchildren now. I also have one thing I cross stitched and it is a Victorian Welcome sign...maybe i can get that on there too....thanks for the encouragment to "start again"...I am about to enter the empty nest period...my 17 yr. old daughter is starting her senior year of HS, and the older 3 are on their own! Enjoy your children...it is apparent you do! Good job, by the way, teaching those high level HS classes!!! I'm impressed!

Love your website and all your comments on the movies, especially MOVE OVER DARLING starring Doris Day. That is one of my favorites, too!

Just wanted to tell you about my book:

DAY AT A TIME
An Indiana Girl's Sentimental Journey to Doris Day's Hollywood and Beyond

due out October 1 from Hawthorne Publishing

www.hawthornepub.com

I was her personal secretary during the 70s while she was filming "The Doris Day Show" at CBS.

She is a Great Lady and I bring a slice of history about what is was like to meet, get to know and live with my idol, Doris Day.

Visit this website for all the info:
