"Fantasy Family"

This picture is from this site.

1. I don't know these people, I'll bet they were kind and wonderful.
2. I make it all up, no ill will is intended.

Kathleen (photo at left) was rowdy and wild as a teenager. She was a sweet, loving,
helpful girl.
She just couldn't help herself.

Her Mother never quite knew what to do with her. She was apologizing to people for her daughter's behavior almost every day it seemed.

Maybe you remember the story passed around about when Kathleen was 15 and she painted obscene words on the sides of every one of Mr. Burl's cows?! Who could ever forget when she filled the school teacher's overcoat pockets with chicken doo?!

She was a worry to her Mother. How would this unruly girl ever find a husband and learn to settle down?

Well, as luck would have it, she did meet and marry Bobby Sparks...the shyest boy in all of the town.
Bobby secretly enjoyed living through Kathleen's mischievous boldness. Even he was once taken off guard by Kathleen's prankster spirit-- on their wedding night he walked into the bedroom and saw Kathleen lying on the bed with her hand covered in, what he thought was, blood and Kathleen holding a big sharp knife saying, "I was only trying to get my wedding ring off my finger!" It was only fake blood and Kathleen laughed and laughed. Poor Bobby almost fainted that time. He didn't enjoy the pranks that included (fake) blood!

Bobby learned to apologize for Kathleen's more unusual pranks through the years, just as her Mother had done.

This photo of Kathleen was taken when she was 102. She had slowed down pulling pranks, somewhat, by then. She only shocked people with her antics once a week or so, by that age.

Bobby, poor fellow, died at the age of 98. He was just plum worn out from all that apologizing; but he often thanked Kathleen for every naughty, fun filled, on the edge, day that they spent together. They had 80 years of prank filled marriage. Below is a photo of Bobby taken the year of their marriage.
