A change of plans

First day of 7th grade...she wore a deep turquoise colored shirt, all right....but not the one she told me to make sure I washed. Not the one I told the big long drawn out story about in the previous post either!!!!

I always take a photo of the new back pack and new lunch box and new shoes on the first day. Today A did not wear her new shoes and she is recycling her lunch box from last year. Last year's back pack did not survive.

Can you believe she won't let her mother take lots of pictures of her actually getting on the bus anymore????!!!!!! Oh, and kissing her at the bus stop is now a thing of the past too. Heck, I am not even supposed to show up at the bus stop at this stage of the game! *sigh*
