wonderful retro images...

I can't explain the stupid thrill I get digging through old dusty shelves of record albums at the local thrifty place I like to visit. The excitement is almost too much as I find images like this on a record album cover.
They are truly art. ART, I tell you!
I am always in search of the covers that have real people depicted in their typical 1950s and 1960s wardrobes and surroundings. I love them!
These pieces of rescued ephemera are great for framing or using as part of an altered art or collage project. They would be great on clip board or train case projects that are popular in the crafting world, don't you think?

Wouldn't they be fun to use as decor?..
simply using a hole punch in each top corner
and knotting a pretty ribbon loop to hang them.
If you wanted to put a little more effort into it,
you could add a bit of some lace or fringe or beaded trim across the bottom.
The images from record album covers are kitschy and time capsule-ish
and a conversation starter.
