pinwheels

I like to make quilling pinwheel flowers, but they seem to be more time consuming than the other style quilling flowers I make more frequently- my Paper Posies- which are much more shaggy and free form and individually unique. Maybe I am just so used to making the Paper Posies that I am quicker with those. I'll bet I could even make them with my eyes shut... maybe I'll have to challenge myself to that!! I like to stare at these pinwheel flowers for some reason.

They are quite mesmerizing. The bright colors are very bold and crisp, don't you agree?
