N. has been on the Chess Club team at his school for 3 years.
He played in his first ever tournament with over 100 students from all around the area.
His school team won 2nd place for his age division which was 3rd-5th grade.
N. is in 3rd grade. He had to play most of his games against a 5th grade girl. YIKES!
The 1st place winners only earned 1/2 a point more.

He was tired but happy, and now has the bug to qualify to play in more tournaments in the future.

Fun & congratulations! My youngest also loves chess! Although mostly he has to play against the computer...shameful, I know!
