Thrifty Trick

For all you "Thrifty Misses" out there, I thought I would share one of my secrets.
I save an empty bottle to get me started. Then I buy my favorite liquid laundry softener (Downy) and the equivalent bottle of whatever the store brand may be. I mix them about half and half in the empty bottle. I get the same nice smell and softness but it stretches for many more loads while spending less over-all. At my house, where the washing machine never gets a day to rest, saving pennies can really add up!! Give it a try with your favorite choice.
