Yesterday I finished up my favorite color lipstick. I mean, really really finished up the lipstick to the point of no more coming out to reach my lips! I found myself saying "Drats!" or something to that effect; but also thinking of my Mom at the same time. When she would finish her favorite lipstick (always Estee Lauder) she would give it to me when I was still a little dress and patent leather shoe girl. I would proudly put it into my own purse along side my hanky which was carefully folded and ironed. I learned the art of ironing by practicing on hankies and pillowcases. That silly empty lipstick tube in my possession made me feel so grown up. So pretty and lady-like.I went to buy a new tube of lipstick (Revlon, for me). When I opened it and applied it, my anticipation of many days upon days of my favorite color upon my lips was dashed. What? This isn't MY color!! "Oh DRATS!" or something to that effect. Has that ever happened to you...You buy the wrong color !?
What made it worse was when I got home and A said "What about that new tube on your dresser?" It was then I realized I am a goof for sure. The forgotten tube on my dresser-pointed out by my wise A- was the same WRONG color!!!!!!
Next time I'll have to bring my empty tube in my purse... tucked in next to a hanky!!!!!!!

Amy, Do you still iron alot? I do! I learned the same way, pillow cases and dad's hankies! I literally go through an iron a year! Love, Lori
I think that most stores will take the make up back or you may be able to exchange for the right color. They say if it is not right for you you may return. You can try that out and I hope it works for you.
this is what always happens to me: as soon as i find a lipstick color that i really really like, that color is immediately discontinued *sigh* i just LOVE that baby print at your etsy shop:) so sweet...
