Do you remember playing the little games inside Highlight's magazine? My favorite game was trying to find all the differences between two pictures that seem alike but in fact weren't and also finding all the everyday objects cleverly hidden in a complicated drawn scene.
As a child I was able to read these at the dentist and doctor's offices as we didn't subscribe at our house. My kids are lucky enough that they were given a subscription as an ongoing gift. All of them enjoy it. Even as a grown up I find the games fun. This issue, was around before I was born.

I love Highlites Magazine. I always got my kids a subscription too. We never had a subscription as kids either.
But my kids always loved them.

Just gorgeous blog design and products!! Keep it up!
Hi ~ I just landed here while out exploring the blogosphere and I couldn't believe that you had written a post about Highlights magazine. I just received a 'free' copy in the mail the other day - complete with smiley stickers - and my youngest child is now 23 years old!:) But my daughter is pregnant with twins so I will someday get them a subscription. I enjoyed my visit and now I must go figure out where to stick my stickers! :) Enjoy your day.
My kids always went straight for the "Goofus and Gallant" page. :)
Have a wonderful weekend.

P.S. I love red too. And lately orange has been one of my favs.

I LOVE that phrase ~ which child is more free! The pictures are priceless - but I can't stop thinking about the phrase :)
