Past photos of my home are proof I am constantly changing things around. My mom always said I would move the tub and toilet around weekly too, if I could figure out a way!
I made the quilt with embroidery and cross stitch and
the patchwork squares are about 1"x1".
The dolls at the top of my hutch were brought to me many years ago from the North Pole!
Way in the back, on the bottom shelf of my hutch, is my Little Red Riding Hood flip doll- the Grandma and wolf are hiding under her skirt when you flip her over the other way. I love her! She was from Santa too.
The photo in the big gold frame has a great story !
First of all, I found the frame ~without glass~ many years ago at a yard sale and paid only $2. I knew some day I would have the perfect use for it once I added glass. I did. The photo of E. and A. when they were little girls was taken in matching dresses of luscious velvet fabric in a rich color shade of purple with embroidered , lace edged bib collars. The best part... though this story became very long and rambling...
I bought each of the matching dresses at separate garage sales and they were even the right sizes for my girls. I couldn't believe it. It's like the dresses were waiting for me to find them. I don't think I paid more than a couple dollars for each. It makes quite a fun display impression, with the big frame and their purple velvets, especially since the story is one of serendipity.

Amy, I love your Raggedy's !I also love the story about the picture frame and the pretty dresses. God must of had your name on them ! Isn't it great when he sweetly meets our needs . He has done some of the same things for me in the past.

Hi Amy! What a neat quilt...I also love red work...but i like to do the primative type...picture and words done in one straight stitch! You've got me thinking about getting the rest of my kids names on my tea towel again! Maybe tonight! Thanks.
