OH Baby

Today's tour is a shelf display I put together with sweet old baby vintie items. The bassinet and teddy bear planters were actually mine and the baby graduate planter was my Dear's. How cool is that?
Here's a close up so you can see I added a photo of little me standing in the kitchen back in the early 1960s.
And for an after photo I took a view of the same part of the kitchen today. Not a whole lot has changed in this kitchen in years. (only a few new stoves and refrigerators in that time. And a coat of paint on the cupboards.)

We keep our favorite card games and dominoes near by for a game at a moment's notice and of course every one's favorite- Play-Doh. The Mary Engelbreit tin is filled with shaped/themed decks of cards.

Amy, Ok this is really strange!! First off I collect vintage baby planters, cards, and booklets, and some are in the kitchen, well actually there is a one and a half by two and a half shelf of vintage baby in the kitchen! Then you posted the shelf and lo and behold we both have the Mary E. yellow square tin!! Goodness we must have been made from the same mold!!! if you go to abundantcuriosities.blogspot, she's doing a posting about white, I'm posting my "whites" on Sunday, I think that's what I told her!LOL anyways, check it out! Later, Lori #2
